Prior to founding the company in 2004 Alan served for a total of 36 years in the Fire Service.

As well as a variety of roles involving Fire Safety work, he also worked in command positions in the cities of Cambridge and Peterborough.

Alan is qualified to member status of the Institute of Fire Engineers and is an experienced Fire Risk Assessor.

He is also a long serving member of the Institute of Fire Safety Managers and was previously listed as an Accredited Fire Risk Assessor until the institutes change to NAFRAR.

As well as Fire Related Training and Fire Risk Assessments, Alan assists in the education and training of Fire Investigators from Fire, Police, Forensic Science and private organisations and is a long serving member of The UK Association of Fire Investigators (formally known as the IAAI-UK).
